12:30. וַיְהִי הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה לְחַטָּאת וַיֵּלְכוּ הָעָם לִפְנֵי הָאֶחָד עַד־דָּן ׃

12:30. ל ויהי הדבר הזה לחטאת וילכו העם לפני האחד עד דן

12:30. וַיְהִי הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה לְחַטָּאת וַיֵּלְכוּ הָעָם לִפְנֵי הָאֶחָד עַד־דָּן׃

12:30. ‏וַיְהִ֛י הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה לְחַטָּ֑את וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ הָעָ֛ם לִפְנֵ֥י הָאֶחָ֖ד עַד־דָּֽן׃

12:30. This caused Israel to sin; the people went to Bethel and Dan to worship the calves.

12:30. But this became a great sin, for the people worshiped the idols, traveling as far north as Dan to worship the one there.

12:30. And this thing became a sin; for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.

12:30. Then this thing became a sin, for the people went as far as Dan to be before one.

12:30. What a terrible sin this was, because the Israelites started going to the cities of Dan and Bethel to worship the calves.
